Information and Application Form

We are looking for Arts Champions who are based in primary, secondary and special needs education, whether a qualified teacher or teaching assistant who are willing to share their skills, experience, expertise and most of all enthusiasm with other teachers and schools, and take on the role of public advocates of arts activity and experiencing the arts in education.

The Network will provide funding to schools to cover the release of these Champions who will spend short periods of time promoting best practice, training, supporting others to adopt similar approaches.

Application is by submission of the following:

  • A current C.V.
  • A letter of interest outlining why you would like to take on the role.
  • Details of two referees that can vouch for your work promoting the arts in school.
  • Examples of work, relevant to the essence of becoming an Arts Champion, that you would like to share with us (web-links acceptable).
  • A letter of endorsement signed by the Headteacher and school governing body

 

The closing date for applications is Friday 7 July 2017.
