Artes Mundi Learning Conference (including live stream)

Join Artes Mundi on Thursday 6 October for a conference exploring the impacts of the Donaldson report, Successful Futures.  The day will feature a keynote speech from Professor Graham Donaldson, who lead the independent review.  There will be opportunity to:

  • Learn more about recent educational reform, including the Donaldson report, and the new Creative Learning Through the Arts programme from the Arts Council of Wales and the Welsh Government.
  • Discuss how Contemporary Art can be used for learning, across the curriculum.
  • Learn more about Artes Mundi 7: works and themes
  • Network with teachers, practitioners and other members of the sector

The day will also feature a variety of workshops for professional development training, including themes on aspirations at GCSE and A level, developing digital skills, teaching contemporary art in primary schools, and more.  For more information visit the Artes Mundi website or the Eventbrite page.

Booking for the conference has now closed, however A2 Connect are providing a live stream of the event for those unable to attend tomorrow.  We’ll also be using footage from the event to create video resources, which will be available on the website very soon.  We hope this will be a useful resource for network members!

Are you attending/watching the live stream of the conference?  Let us know your thoughts/questions/ideas in the comments below.
