Are you a musician, a visual artist, a dancer or an actor; a craftsperson, digital developer, storyteller or writer; a poet, songwriter, gaming technologist or circus performer; or another type of creative practitioner working in schools? Or do you run an organisation placing creatives in schools? Do you sometimes feel a bit isolated or feel you’d like to know a bit more about how other practitioners work? Come to our quarterly Learning Group – the next one is Monday 11 February, 5-7pm at Chapter Arts Centre, Cardiff.
You’ll be able to meet other creative educators; share experiences and information; find out how to grow your work and your network; discuss a particular topic. Yvonne Murphy of Omidaze Productions (also an associate artists of Wales Millenium Centre and Theatr Iolo), will be with us to talk about partnerships and collaborations – how do you find the right people to work with and how do you partner with organisations?
Do come along – we’re friendly, and we’d love to meet you!
If you can’t make this one, there are also events on: Monday May 13 and Monday July 15, same time same place.
To book visit our Eventbrite page.
In the meantime, here are a few blog posts and resources to whet your appetite – let us know if you know of any others we can add to this list!
