These two 90 – minute online sessions will support teachers in how they approach working with young people to develop creative risk taking through drawing skills. Participants will be supported to develop their own confidence in mark making and will be empowered to encourage the acceptance of ‘mistakes’ as part of the creative process. The sessions will use a blended learning approach with live video clips, powerpoint presentations as well as some practical tasks. The sessions will encourage participants to consider ways to invite their students to make connections and take ownership of sharing knowledge and learning. The sessions will have space for reflection and discussion.
4 & 11 February 3.30pm – 5.00pm
The two sessions follow on from each other so teachers need to attend both. There will be a practice task set in – between the sessions.
This course will be run by Holly Davey
A Zoom link will be shared to all signed up to the course closer to the date.
